About the Role:
Caterpillar is seeking an experienced Human Resources Operations Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our HR department, you will be responsible for providing customer support and resolving inquiries related to HR administrative processes and procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
- Contribute to operational excellence in HR by efficiently and accurately executing processes related to termination, exit interviews, disciplinary actions, employment compliance and contracts management.
- Support all BU HR processes related to employee life cycle, such as hiring, onboarding, job changes and reorganizations, benefits administration and cafeteria services.
- Provide an excellent service experience when executing employee-facing processes.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
Business Process Improvement: Knowledge of business process improvement best practices and ability to use methods for identifying, evaluating, introducing and implementing more efficient approaches to performing business-related activities.
Information Capture: Knowledge of the methods, channels and processes to obtain needed information; ability to identify, capture and document relevant business information in an auditable, organized, understandable and easily retrievable manner.
Service Excellence: Knowledge of customer service concepts and techniques; ability to meet or exceed customer needs and expectations and provide excellent service in a direct or indirect manner.
Decision Making and Critical Thinking: Knowledge of the decision-making process and associated tools and techniques; ability to accurately analyze situations and reach productive decisions based on informed judgment.
