About the Role

As the Head of Recruitment, you will play a pivotal role in shaping Adale's future and directly influencing our company's growth and success. Working closely with our CEO, you'll take ownership of our global recruitment operations. You'll design and implement the systems and processes needed to scale, manage a remote team of recruiters across the globe, and drive the talent acquisition strategies that support our long-term growth. You'll tackle challenges like expanding into new markets and implementing innovative recruitment technologies. This role is ideal for a "player-coach" who is comfortable with both high-level strategic planning and the day-to-day details of running a global recruitment agency.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and Execute Recruitment Strategies: Translate company goals into actionable recruitment plans, then oversee their execution.
  • Design and Optimize Recruitment Processes: Build and refine scalable recruitment processes, including the implementation of ATS and other relevant tools
  • Lead and Mentor the Recruitment Team: Manage a remote team of recruiters across different countries, making sure everyone is aligned, motivated, delivering results, and thriving personally.
  • Establish and Monitor Recruitment KPIs: Build systems to track recruitment KPIs and metrics ensuring targets are met and accountability is maintained.
  • Manage Client and Talent Relationships: Balance client expectations with talent acquisition efforts, ensuring smooth, high-quality service delivery. Actively engage in client & talent meetings.
  • Support Business Development Efforts: Participate in client acquisition initiatives, including sales meetings, networking events, and marketing efforts to build strong relationships.
  • Drive Operational Improvements: Continuously identify areas for improvement within the recruitment function to enhance efficiency and effectiveness, welcoming innovative ideas and approaches.
First 100 Days

What does a successful first 100 days on the job look like? Here are a few of the key initiatives you'll accomplish:

  • Align on Core Business Model and Priorities: Work closely with the founders to further develop our core theses and business model, aligning them with our recruitment strategies to ensure initial focus and long-term success.
  • Hire and Onboard Key Team Members (internal & external): Lead the hiring and onboarding of critical recruitment roles, ensuring we have "the right people in the right seats" to be successful
  • Build Recruitment Frameworks and Systems: Establish recruitment processes, workflows, and standards/metrics, including the selection and implementation of an ATS and other essential tools.
  • Refine and Execute Go-to-Market Strategy: Work with leadership to refine and begin executing the go-to-market strategy for our Q1 2025 launch, focusing on client acquisition and talent sourcing.
  • Client Engagement and Relationship Building: Participate in client meetings to understand their needs, contribute to sales processes, and build relationships.
  • Develop and Launch Initial Recruitment Campaigns: Create and execute recruitment campaigns to attract top talent in our target markets.

Key Requirements (Who You Definitely Are)

Below are the qualities that we're looking for at a minimum:

  • 5+ Years of Leadership Experience in a Recruiting or Staffing Agency: You have 5+ years of experience in a leadership role within a recruiting or staffing agency, including managing teams and overseeing operations.
  • Proven Expertise in Managing Remote Teams Globally: Demonstrated ability to lead and manage remote recruitment teams across different countries and time zones effectively.
  • Successful Client Acquisition and Management Experience: Demonstrated success in participating in sales processes, securing new clients, and maintaining strong client relationships.
  • Expertise in Building Recruitment Processes and Systems: Strong track record of designing and implementing scalable recruitment processes and systems, including proficiency with ATS, CRM tools, and recruitment marketing platforms.
  • Data-Driven with Strong Analytical Skills: Ability to use data and analytics to drive decision-making, measure recruitment performance, and optimize strategies.
  • Exceptional English Communication Skills: Fluent, confident English communication skills are required to communicate effectively with diverse stakeholders.
  • Cultural Competence and Adaptability: Strong cultural sensitivity and the ability to work effectively across different cultures and environments.
Strongly Preferred (Who You Maybe Are)

While not required, it's *strongly* preferred if you have:

  • Experience Scaling Recruitment Teams: Experience scaling a recruitment team from a small group to a large team, comfortable with the challenges of growth.
  • eCommerce Industry Expertise: In-depth knowledge of the eCommerce industry and its talent landscape, including key roles and skill sets across various geographies.
  • Familiarity with Innovative Recruitment Technologies: Knowledge of AI-driven recruitment tools, social media recruiting, and other cutting-edge technologies.
