Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Food Product Development Specialist to join our team at Ingredion. As a key member of our Ingredient Development team, you will be responsible for driving the development of new ingredients and products that meet the needs of our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the development of new ingredients and products, with a focus on Syrups and Refinery products.
  • Conduct technical investigations, laboratory testing, and pilot testing to evaluate the feasibility of new ingredients and products.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop product specifications, manufacturing instructions, and other documentation.
  • Support the selection of ingredients that best fit our company's strategy and customer requirements.
  • Develop and deliver technical training programs to our team members on new ingredients and products.
  • Support innovation strategic planning and evaluate alternative product fabrication opportunities.
  • Build and maintain relationships with internal stakeholders and external partners to drive business growth.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and competitor products to ensure our company remains competitive.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Food or Chemical Engineering or Food Science.
  • Experience in technical areas such as R&D and process engineering.
  • Desirable previous knowledge of Ingredion products portfolio.
  • Proficiency in Spanish and English.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Highly developed interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks.
