Job Summary

Thermo Fisher Scientific is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Clinical Trial Coordinator I to join our team. As a Clinical Trial Coordinator I, you will play a critical role in the success of our clinical trials by providing administrative and technical support to the project team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide administrative support for site activation activities, including coordinating with sites and ensuring that all necessary documents are completed and submitted in a timely manner.
  • Support the development of the critical path for site activation within assigned projects, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
  • Represent CRG personnel and provide local input into the site tiering process, using local knowledge and organization systems to develop and review site lists.
  • May act as a buddy during the onboarding phase and provide training to new staff as needed.
  • Perform department, internal, country, and investigator file reviews as assigned, and document findings in appropriate systems.
  • Ensure that all allocated tasks are performed on time, within budget, and to a high-quality standard, and proactively communicate any risks to project leads.
  • Provide system support, including ensuring that system databases are always current, and perform administrative tasks on assigned trials, including processing documents and distributing communications as needed.
  • Assist with the analysis and reconciliation of study metrics and findings reports, and assist with the clarification and resolution of findings related to site documentation.
  • Assist with the coordination, compilation, and distribution of investigator site files and pharmacy binder materials and non-clinical study supplies to sites.

Requirements

  • High/secondary school diploma or equivalent and relevant formal academic/vocational qualification. Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Previous experience that provides the knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform the job (comparable to 0 to 1 year).
  • Requirement knowledge of SSU/regulatory processes.
