Job Overview

This is a challenging role that requires leadership, coaching, and communication skills. The Service Manager will be responsible for implementing, controlling, monitoring, and improving the After Sales Service department to ensure complete application of company strategies according to timeframe required.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coach service people in the field guaranteeing correct customer approach both in technical aspects and soft skills
  • Train, provide, and follow-up Healthy and Safety aspects of the Service Activity promoting safe environment for employees, implementing new actions if necessary
  • Work close with sales team in field to check and guarantee client experience
  • Maximize customer retention rates by ensuring customer satisfaction proactively
  • Follow base installation and propose correct allocation of resources effectively
  • Manage and control quality of Services of Third Party guarantying correct SLA
  • Manage, develop, implement, and follow up Implementation Projects
  • Manage, develop, implement, and follow up Automation Projects
  • Manage Refurbish Center and follow up all activities related
  • Work with Distributors providing training needs, following quality of Service and controlling equipment performance
  • Ensure effective cost management of Service Department (Labor, Spare Parts, Assets, etc)
  • Represent needs of Service Department during meetings with Managements and other departments within organization
  • Collaborate with Corporate Service to ensure compliance with corporate policies and supply adequate inputs into Service Organization
  • Handle and maintain recommended spare parts stock level according to corporate policies defined by Corporate Service
  • Implement upgrade and retrofit programs according to what agreed during International Service Meeting and defined by Corporate Service
  • Handle, monitor, and improve effectiveness of Services Call Center
  • Handle, monitor, and improve effectiveness of Technical Support to Field Engineers (activities to be performed by Instrumentation Specialist)
  • Establish, track, and communicate departmental Key Performance Indicators (KPI) to measure performance, identify areas for improvement, and recognize success
  • Guarantee accuracy of all audit process ensuring correct procedures and business alignment
  • Manage stakeholder's activities contributing ethically and technically in presentation of DiaSorin products
