Job Title: Design Product Lead

We are seeking a skilled Design Product Lead to join our team. As a key member of our engineering community, you will be responsible for leading the development and support of products within our Technology and Projects groups.

Your primary focus will be on performing scientific and engineering efforts related to the design of new products and services, as well as new designs for customer projects. You will work closely with different engineering and manufacturing teams to reach optimal outputs for products in terms of cost and manufacturability.

You will also be responsible for promoting good communication across different stakeholders, manufacturing, and engineering disciplines. Additionally, you will work collaboratively with a global engineering community and communicate effectively with your team in both Portuguese and English.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Lead cost-out and trade-off exercises using lean and continuous improvement strategies.
  • Involving different engineering and manufacturing teams to reach optimal outputs for products in terms of cost and manufacturability.
  • Promoting good communication across different stakeholders, manufacturing, and engineering disciplines.
  • Working collaboratively with a global engineering community.
  • Communicating with the team in both Portuguese and English.
  • Developing project deliverables, such as manufacturing drawings, 3D models, schematics, P&IDs, procedures, reports, etc.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or other Engineering disciplines.
  • Fluent in written and spoken English or at least intermediate proficiency.
  • Experience with subsea project/product engineering, with emphasis on pre-salt and deepwater Christmas Tree systems.
  • Christmas Tree engineering background for subsea equipment. Knowledge of Vertical and Horizontal Christmas Trees, Tubing Head Spools, Tubing Hangers, and Christmas Tree Tooling sets is desired.
  • Manufacturing and cost-driven mindset.
  • Proactive and engaged in daily tasks.
