Senior Demand Planning Professional

We are seeking a skilled and analytical Senior Demand Planner to join our organization. This high-impact role will blend deep analytical work with strategic collaboration to enhance our forecasting and S&OP process.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Create and manage rolling demand forecasts across our product portfolio using historical sales data, customer demand trends, and market intelligence/trends
  • Lead the monthly S&OP Demand Review and present to senior leadership, including forecast assumptions, risks, and opportunities
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Sales, Marketing, Finance, and Supply Chain for alignment on forecasts and plans
  • Analyze forecast performance and identify opportunities to improve forecast accuracy and reduce variability, as well as implement corrective actions
  • Support key initiatives like new product launches, seasonal plans, and portfolio strategy
  • Recommend and drive enhancements of forecasting tools, systems, and demand planning process improvements
  • Collaborate with supply planning and customer service to optimize inventory, improve service levels, and minimize waste and obsolescence
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, Statistics, Economics, or related field; Master's preferred
  • 5+ years of experience in demand planning, demand forecasting, or supply chain planning, ideally in Fast Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG), CPG, or food & beverage
  • Hands-on experience with S&OP process design, forecasting techniques, and cross-functional planning
  • Advanced Excel skills and proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., SAP) and demand planning software (e.g., GIB, Anaplan, Oracle Demantra, or similar)
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence at multiple levels
  • Strategic thinker with a data-oriented mindset and ability to execute in a fast-paced environment
