We are seeking a talented and experienced professional to join our team as a Career Advisor. As a key member of our organization, you will play a vital role in guiding students through the college application process, providing them with the support and resources they need to achieve their academic goals.

Responsibilities:

  • ">
  • Advise students on the college admission process, creating individualized plans and executing on them in collaboration with the student and their mentor.">
  • Continually research and expand a knowledge base with resources to support students in applying for college, including maintaining knowledge of high school curricula, college research, extracurricular and leadership choices, and standardized test planning to make recommendations regarding admissions strategies.">
  • Utilize in-depth knowledge of institutions of higher learning to guide students towards attainable school goals, working with them to create lists of best-fit schools of varied competition to maximize chances of acceptances and financial support.">
  • Guide students through the college essay writing processes, providing continuous feedback and personalized support.">
  • Provide assistance with standardized test planning and study tips (SAT/ACT and DET/TOEFL/IELTS).">
  • Lead student group training sessions and present as an expert speaker on external webinars.">

  • A fluent command of the English language, including the ability to write and edit in English.">
  • Knowledge of international college application processes, including application platforms, essays testing, admissions requirements, and scholarships/financial aid.">
