Product Data Stewardship Role

This is a detail-oriented and data-savvy professional position responsible for ensuring the quality, completeness, and consistency of global product data across systems.

The ideal candidate will collaborate with cross-functional teams to uphold data integrity and drive business value through effective data stewardship practices.

  • Define and implement global data quality standards and processes in collaboration with regional data product owners.
  • Partner with business teams to identify and resolve product data quality issues within defined service level agreements (SLAs).
  • Work with IT to define requirements for a product Master Data Management (MDM) solution and automate manual data stewardship tasks.
  • Support the development and deployment of automation pipelines to streamline data stewardship activities.

This role requires strong written and verbal communication skills, advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, and familiarity with MDM solutions and enterprise data management platforms.

A background in agriculture or knowledge of agricultural products is an asset, as well as experience with data governance frameworks and data quality tools.

Job Requirements
  • Intermediate level experience in a data stewardship, data science, or related data management role.
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
  • Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and timeline-driven.
