Real Estate Asset Analyst

We're seeking a skilled Real Estate Asset Analyst to join our team in Latin America. As an Asset Analyst, you'll play a key role in supporting the Latin America team members in all aspects of asset management activities.

The successful candidate will be responsible for gathering, tracking, and managing financial and asset management information for the portfolio. This includes monitoring business plans and annual budgets for each asset, platform, and entity within the Latin America portfolio.

You'll interact with partners and internal departments to ensure compliance with investment agreements and business practices. Your duties will include:

  • Assisting the team in maximizing returns and ensuring compliance with various investment agreements;
  • Analyzing and interpreting financial reports and management reports to issue recommendations;
  • Creating, maintaining, and updating complex financial models for real estate projects and operating companies;
  • Representing the company and maintaining excellent business relations with partners;
  • Ensuring the implementation of obligations under partnership agreements and following up on necessary documentation;
  • Preparing and presenting analysis and documents for internal approval;
  • Analyzing, recommending, and implementing the adoption of annual operating budgets and capital as well as business plans for each asset;
  • Visiting properties and/or construction sites as scheduled by the immediate supervisor;
  • Revising third-party appraisal reports for properties under management;
  • Implementing control measures and managing risks associated with assets under management;

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

  • A bachelor's degree in finance, administration, economics, accounting, engineering, or real estate;
  • Professional titles like CFA, CPA, or C.App. are an asset;
  • One to three years of related experience;
  • Excellent written and spoken English and Portuguese; Spanish is a strong asset;
  • Strong analytical and information processing skills;
  • Solid skills with Excel and PowerPoint; Argus Enterprise and Power BI software knowledge is an asset;
  • Team-oriented, self-directed, inquisitive, driven, and committed to continuous quality improvement;
  • Result-oriented, demonstrated achiever;
  • Adaptability, sense of business, skilled communicator;
  • Available to travel from time to time;
