This is a fantastic opportunity to join our finance team as a Lead Financial Planning Analyst. In this role, you will play a key part in helping us transform the way we manage risk for our customers.
About the Role
As a Senior FP&A Analyst, you will be responsible for leading multi-year budget and monthly forecast reviews for Underwriting and General Expenses. You will also be tasked with creating financial forecasts based on a solid understanding of GAAP and knowledge of balance sheet and P&L statements.
Your Key Responsibilities
- Budget and Forecast track and control, analyzing and understanding variations, anticipating overspend and ensuring actions are taken so that expenses are within approved limits.
- Review comparison of actual results with budget and forecast estimates, preparing appropriate variance explanations and highlighting issues and recommendations.
- Prepare and participate in monthly planning business reviews with finance and the leadership team.
- Responsible for the continued development and data configuration of the Budgeting, Forecasting, and Modeling tools (SAP Finance Warehouse, SAP Business Planning & Consolidation - BPC).
- Conduct ad hoc research and analysis to support a wide range of strategic projects.
