We are seeking an experienced HR Business Partner to join our team. This individual will be a trusted advisor to employees and leaders across our residential property management portfolio, providing support with employee relations, HR administration and compliance, and performance management.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Employee Relations: Serve as a resource for team members and leaders on HR-related inquiries, policies, and best practices; support investigations and resolution of employee concerns in partnership with HR leadership; promote a positive work culture and employee engagement across sites.
  • HR Administration & Compliance: Administer the HR Service Delivery in Dayforce (HR Cases); maintain accurate employee records in HRIS and personnel files; support compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and company policies; assist in audits and maintain confidentiality of sensitive data.
  • Performance Management: Assist in tracking performance review cycles and developmental plans; help coordinate training sessions, policy rollouts, and compliance education; provide support to managers in coaching, documentation, and progressive discipline processes.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred
  • 3+ years of HR experience; prior experience in residential property management or a multi-site field environment a plus
  • Working knowledge of HR laws and regulations specific to California (FLSA, FMLA, ADA, EEO, etc.)
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and HRIS systems (Dayforce preferred)
  • Ability to travel to sites occasionally as needed
