Database Architecture Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Database Architect to join our team.

This role involves designing, implementing, and maintaining the foundation of our data infrastructure.

  • Develop scalable, performant, and reliable database systems spanning multiple database engines and technologies.
  • Lead complex data migrations and transformations across our platform using AWS DMS.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure that our architecture meets the needs of our users and stakeholders.

To succeed in this role, you should have a strong foundation in database architecture and engineering, as well as experience working with multiple database engines and technologies.

  • 4+ years of experience in database architecture, administration, or engineering at a software-driven organization.
  • Proven experience with multiple database engines such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, MSSQL, DynamoDB, Redshift, and more.
  • Strong command of AWS Database Migration Service (DMS) for schema conversion, task configuration, replication, and data validation.
Key Skills and Qualifications
  • Proficiency with SQL and strong database design skills, including normalization, indexing, and performance tuning.
  • Ability to independently lead technical projects and mentor others on database architecture and search engine best practices.
  • Experience working with Python, Django, and AWS is a plus.
