IT Operations Support Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Systems Administrator to play a key role in enhancing company standards and processes related to ITSM and business ticketing tools. The ideal candidate will have experience in supporting and developing Active Directory, PowerShell, Rest APIs, and ITSM processes, with Cherwell experience being a plus.

This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated individual who is passionate about process improvement and collaboration between geographically dispersed teams and functions. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating and maintaining the ITSM roadmap, partnering with the business to design solutions that meet their needs, and automating business processes using ITSM and PowerShell to improve efficiency and reduce manual errors.

  • Create and maintain the ITSM roadmap to ensure alignment with business objectives

  • Support mergers, acquisitions, and system modifications, ensuring seamless integration and minimal disruption
  • Manage tasks and projects to implement solutions, coordinating with stakeholders and teams as needed
  • Develop and execute a strong communications plan to keep the business and IT informed throughout the solution implementation process
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, with five to eight years of experience in international manufacturing business environments, preferably in the automotive industry
  • Proven experience in supporting and developing Active Directory, PowerShell, Rest APIs, and ITSM processes, with Cherwell experience being a plus
  • Background in IT operations support, with a passion for process improvement and collaboration between geographically dispersed teams and functions
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to make challenging decisions in a timely manner across complex opportunities
  • Willingsness and ability to travel, as necessary, to support the business and drive project success
