We are a healthcare recruitment start-up seeking a highly skilled Financial Operations Specialist to strengthen our day-to-day accounting and finance operations.
The ideal candidate will have experience with QuickBooks Online, financial tools, and automation. They will be responsible for setting up/configuring chart of accounts, bank feeds, and automation rules, as well as managing and automating accounting and financial tasks such as reconciliations, accounts receivable, accounts payable, payroll, and reporting.
The successful candidate will work closely with our Canadian accountant to ensure compliance, focusing on efficiency and streamlined operations.
- Solid accounting and bookkeeping skills are essential.
- Digital savvyness, ability to streamline processes, and leverage automation tools are required.
- Excellent Excel and/or Google Sheets skills (formulas, pivot tables, dashboards) are necessary.
- A hands-on, detail-oriented approach, with a proactive attitude towards process improvements is desired.
- Comfortable working in a start-up environment: resourceful, flexible, and solution-oriented.
This is a flexible, remote freelance role offering the opportunity to shape our finance operations from the ground up. You will work closely with founders and gain exposure to the fast-growing recruitment industry.
