To succeed in this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality of software applications.
Key activities include:
- Execution of functional and non-functional tests, including regression tests, usability tests, and security tests for backend, frontend, and mobile applications.
- Planning, development, and execution of test strategies, test plans, and test cases.
- Planning and execution of automated tests.
- Assessment and implementation of methods to identify, isolate, document, regress, and track bugs through resolution.
- Analyze project documentation to review test cases and script design.
- Work with key stakeholders to define and prioritize test scope, assess risk, and design an approach that ensures quality outputs at every stage of the development cycle.
- Escalate concerns regarding project, product, or process quality in a collaborative and prompt manner.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a comparable field; or equivalent experience.
- Certification (optional): Software Quality Assurance Certification from an industry-recognized organization.
- Advanced English level (written and spoken).
- 5+ years of experience in Software Testing and Quality Assurance (QA).
- Experience in testing activities, developing test plans and strategies, and translating business requirements into functional tests to ensure seamless customer experiences.
- Experience with APIs and integration tests.
- Experience with writing automated tests under Cypress, Robot, or Playwright framework.
- Familiarity with QA tools and bug tracking systems.
- Familiarity with CI/CD and Azure DevOps tools.
- Familiarity with Agile and DevOps practices.
- Good understanding of all stages in the Test Life Cycle and Software Development Life Cycle.
- Good communication and teamwork abilities.
- Strong organization, planning, coordination, and scheduling.
- Adaptable and flexible, takes ownership, transparent, and proactive.
