Financial Services Control Specialist

This is a role within our organization that focuses on ensuring the sustainability and discipline of our end-to-end control environment. As part of this team, you will be responsible for identifying and escalating issues with urgency, as well as partnering with stakeholders to ensure timely remediation.
Responsibilities- You will conduct an in-depth analysis of our business's risk and control environment to identify significant gaps and weaknesses.
- You will work to ensure that controls are properly designed and operating effectively, promoting a proactive risk and control culture.
- You will analyze program-related data and develop reports to support business strategies.
- You will assist in the development of Risk & Control Self-Assessment mapping and documentation through process walkthroughs and deep dives.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required.
- A minimum of 3-7 years of experience in financial services industry, preferably in controls, audit, quality assurance, operational risk management, or compliance.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) preferred.
