Job Description:In this pivotal role, you will be instrumental in streamlining trade processes and ensuring the seamless flow of goods across international borders. Your impact will extend to the delivery of critical medicines, wind turbines, and semiconductors to patients and businesses worldwide.
Key responsibilities include:
- Responding to tenders and RFQs, fostering strong relationships with carriers to secure optimal rates and services.
- Collaborating with customers to provide market and product expertise, negotiating competitive rates and establishing country-specific requirements.
- Monitoring local charges, setting targets with carriers, and maintaining efficient information flow concerning carriers' activities and market development.
- Developing and sustaining relations with global sea freight carriers in Latin America, the US, and Europe, addressing problems related to space or equipment constraints.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in International Relations, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Senior-level experience in trade management, commercial operations, and pricing processes.
- Previous experience working with Latin American countries.
- Advanced proficiency in English and Spanish.
