Job Title:International Trade Specialist

We are seeking an experienced International Trade Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our trade operations, you will be responsible for customs clearance, supplier performance monitoring, and coordinating with internal and external stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Customs Clearance: Ensure seamless customs clearance for air and ocean shipments
  • Supplier Performance Monitoring: Track suppliers' performance and implement corrective actions as needed
  • Stakeholder Coordination: Collaborate with internal teams (quality, legal, tax, and receiving) and external suppliers to resolve issues
  • Nationalization Process: Facilitate nationalization of imported goods
  • Account Reconciliation: Conduct account reconciliation processes
  • Customer Service Support: Assist the customer service team in resolving queries related to international trade
  • AEO Program Development: Contribute to the development and implementation of the Authorized Economic Operator (AEO) program
  • Performance Metrics: Define and create metrics for customer service using Power BI, RPA, and XLS tools
  • Customs Clearance Projects: Participate in projects related to customs clearance process improvements
  • Inventory Management: Manage inventory issues, schedule changes, and cancellations
  • Cost Estimation and Reporting: Prepare cost estimates and performance reports
  • Tariff Knowledge: Possess knowledge of drawback and ex-tariff regulations
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in International Trade, Logistics, or a related field
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in customs clearance, international trade, or a related field
  • Strong knowledge of customs regulations, laws, and procedures
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
