Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and hands-on Catalog Analyst to manage day-to-day operations within our platform.

The ideal candidate has worked in a company that sells exclusively online or where online sales are the main channel.

Key Responsibilities
  • Catalog Management:
    • Backend: browse nodes, categories, product types, search terms, listing optimization.
    • Frontend: titles, bullet points, descriptions, content creation, and images.
  • Catalog Health & Maintenance:
    • Monitor listing quality, keyword indexing, suppressed / stranded SKUs, and apply improvements regularly (at least every 30 days).
  • Inventory Coordination:
    • Collaborate with inventory teams to avoid stockouts / overstocks, manage restock limits, and reconcile discrepancies in reports.
  • Tools & Analysis:
    • Use third-party tools to track performance, pricing, sales trends, and profitability.
  • Competitor Benchmarking:
    • Monitor competing listings and adjust positioning (title, keywords, images) accordingly.
  • Reporting:
    • Prepare and deliver regular performance reports with actionable insights and follow-ups.
Requirements
  • At least 3 years of experience managing online catalogs.
  • Proven track record with listing creation and optimization, both backend and frontend.
  • Experience managing large catalogs (500+ SKUs).
  • Familiarity with platform policies and listing compliance.
  • Strong knowledge of analytics and reporting tools.
  • Advanced skills in spreadsheet software.
  • Fluent in English (written and spoken).
Nice to Have
  • Experience in companies where online sales are the exclusive or primary sales channel.
  • Basic coding skills for listing customizations.
  • Familiarity with other e-commerce platforms.
  • Experience with paid advertising (not mandatory but a plus).
