Data Infrastructure Engineer

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced software engineer to join our team as a Data Infrastructure Engineer. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in computer science, software engineering, and experience with cloud-based technologies such as GCP.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Designing and implementing scalable data pipelines using Apache Beam or similar technologies;
  • Developing and maintaining high-performance data storage solutions using relational databases or NoSQL databases;
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to integrate data infrastructure components with other product features;
  • Contributing to the design and implementation of data architecture roadmap.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field;
  • 5+ years of experience in software development with a focus on data infrastructure;
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, or C++;
  • Experience with containerization using Docker and Kubernetes;
  • Strong understanding of cloud computing concepts and cloud-based technologies.
