Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Freight Cost Optimization Manager to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and leading a team of freight cost specialists to ensure the successful execution of daily operations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and lead a team of freight cost specialists to execute daily operations successfully.
  • Guarantee the invoice checking and self-billing process to the satisfaction of customers.
  • Communicate regularly with customers and carriers regarding freight cost status.
  • Maintain strict adherence to carriers' process compliance.
  • Monitor process performance and freight costs.
  • Analyze process metrics to determine and drive continuous improvement measures.
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A university degree in economics, finance, or a related field.
  • Professional experience in freight cost management or controlling, preferably supervising and developing a team.
  • A results-driven attitude with strong customer orientation.
  • The ability to adapt to new situations and peak operation periods, with a structured approach to problem-solving.
  • Strong communication skills in English.
  • Advanced user knowledge of enterprise IT systems.
  • The ability to work in a dynamic, virtual, and international environment.
