
Business Proposal Developer

The successful candidate will be responsible for collaborating with the sales team to conduct research and understand customer needs, develop compelling proposals that showcase solutions, and lead post-submission exercises such as presentations and clarifications.
Main Responsibilities:- Conduct thorough research on customers to gain insight into their environment, politics, limitations, hot points, and other factors that will inform a winning response.
- Provide feedback to account managers, sales managers, and directors regarding current and anticipated proposal documents.
- Assemble stakeholders (proposal project team) to identify roles, responsibilities, and timelines.
- Engage internal and external resources to develop a pricing strategy and account for applicable costs.
- Prepare professionally written responses to proposal documents that specifically address customer requirements.
- Document and report on project status, including capture information and close out of opportunities.
- Participate in department-sponsored training programs and contribute to shared resources through content library development.
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent relevant work experience.
- Two years of writing or editorial experience.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficient in Office Applications and Adobe Acrobat.
- Strong organization, time management, attention to detail, and follow-up skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects.
- General IT product knowledge.
- Project Management experience.
- Working knowledge of purchasing requirements.
- Familiarity with proposal assembly software.
