Head of Supply Chain Operations for Brazil and Latin America

Position Overview

The Head of Supply Chain Operations for Brazil and Latin America is a pivotal role that demands a strategic leader with a robust background in supply chain optimization. This position is essential for overseeing supply chain functions within Brazil and managing demand fulfillment across the Latin American region.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Strategic Supply Chain Management: Develop and implement comprehensive supply chain strategies tailored to the Brazilian market and Latin America.
  2. Budget Management: Oversee budgetary allocations and performance metrics to ensure financial accountability.
  3. Commercial Leadership Representation: Act as the representative for Organon Manufacturing & Supply in various commercial leadership initiatives.
  4. Demand Forecasting: Lead demand management and forecasting efforts, integrating regional business planning processes.
  5. Order Fulfillment: Manage order processing and fulfillment for Brazil and other regional markets.
  6. Logistics Oversight: Supervise logistics operations, including partnerships with third-party logistics providers and compliance with customs regulations.
  7. Trade Compliance: Ensure adherence to import, export, and trade compliance regulations.
  8. Performance Analytics: Utilize performance and cost analytics to enhance service delivery and operational efficiency.
  9. Project Leadership: Sponsor and oversee strategic projects aimed at transforming supply chain operations.
  10. Collaboration with Local Sites: Provide supply chain management support to local packaging sites and external manufacturing partners.
  11. Regional Demand Fulfillment: Coordinate demand fulfillment activities across all Latin American markets.

Qualifications

  1. Minimum of 10 years of experience in managing complex supply chains.
  2. Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
  3. Demonstrated success in collaborating with commercial teams.
  4. Strong understanding of the regional supply chain landscape.
  5. Proven experience in line and people management.
  6. Experience in driving transformation initiatives is advantageous.
  7. Successful track record in budget management and operational efficiency.
  8. Experience in pharmaceutical supply chain management is preferred.
  9. Able to manage operations across multiple markets.
  10. Exceptional communication and collaboration skills.
  11. Proactive and solution-oriented mindset.
  12. Adaptable to a rapidly changing environment.
  13. Data-driven analytical skills.
  14. Strong people management and change management capabilities.
  15. Fluency in both Portuguese and English.
