Key Job Responsibilities
  • Design, develop and maintain scalable automated test scripts for web and backend services.
  • Analyze business requirements to design comprehensive manual and automated test cases.
  • Lead and guide QA team members to ensure adherence to best practices and drive quality initiatives.
  • Own the defect lifecycle from discovery to resolution ensuring high standards of quality.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align on quality expectations and project timelines.

Automation Development is a critical component of our testing strategy. Our ideal candidate will possess excellent technical skills and be able to design, develop and maintain scalable automated test scripts for web and backend services.

This role requires strong analytical skills to analyze complex issues and identify effective solutions. The ideal candidate will also have excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

Required Qualifications
  • Proven experience as an Automation QA Engineer or Lead with a background in mentoring team members.
  • Strong coding and scripting skills with hands-on experience building advanced automation frameworks.
  • Proficiency in JavaScript and TypeScript with expertise in Playwright and/or Cypress.
  • Experience with API testing and creating clear thorough and effective test cases.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead or mentor QA team members promote QA best practices and support continuous improvement.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with Agile methodologies and familiarity with tools such as Selenium Appium or other similar automation testing frameworks.
  • Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and integration of automated tests.
  • Experience working with global teams navigating time zone challenges.
