About the Role:
We are seeking a skilled Electrical or Control and Automation Engineer with Protection & Control experience to expand our presence in Brazil.
This full-time role reports to the Director of the Brazilian office and is based in Florianópolis – Brazil, with frequent travel required.
Key Responsibilities:- Technical Sales & Business Development:
- IDentify and pursue new sales opportunities within utilities, generation, and transmission companies, and switchgear/cabinet manufacturers.
- Leverage your professional network to generate leads and set up technical evaluations.
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with final customers and partners.
- Prepare and deliver compelling technical presentations, product demos, and proposals.
- Represent us at trade shows, conferences, and customer training events.
- Protection & Control Engineering:
- Collaborate with customers on solution designs, integrating our test interfaces into their protection & control workflows.
- Collect and synthesize feedback from customer field reports to inform product refinements and application best practices.
- Provide application feedback to R&D teams in Germany and Brazil, contributing to continuous product improvement.
- Develop and update application notes, wiring diagrams, and test plans.
- Customer Support & Training:
- Deliver technical training sessions (remote and onsite) for customers, sales representatives, and partners.
- Act as the lead technical contact for escalations and product quality inquiries.
- Collaborate with Operations to ensure on-time delivery and adherence to quality standards.
