Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Legal Manager to join our team in São Paulo, Brazil. As a key member of our legal team, you will provide strategic legal advice and counsel in all areas of law, including competition, contracts, regulatory, and litigation. You will also develop innovative solutions to drive simplification, effectiveness, and financial stewardship.

Responsibilities
  • Provide expert legal advice and counsel to senior leaders, including Board Members.
  • Develop and implement effective legal strategies to drive business growth and compliance.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and mitigate legal risks.
  • Stay up-to-date with changing laws and regulations, and provide guidance on compliance.
  • Drive a culture of ethics and compliance within the organization.
Requirements
  • Graduation in Law with local BAR approval (OAB) required.
  • At least 5 years of experience as a business attorney for a commercial operating company, industry association, or comparable business/legal experience.
  • Strong understanding of legal matters, including litigation, competition, compliance, bids, regulatory, and public law.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to work independently and drive results.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate in a matrix organization structure.
  • Business-oriented with an ability to proactively engage with business colleagues to find practical solutions.
  • Ability to handle conflicts in an open and constructive manner.
  • Ability to set an example and ensure high ethical, legal, and compliance standards.
