Senior Compliance Professional

Our organization seeks a highly skilled and experienced Compliance Specialist to interface with our Compliance team and locations in the US, Canada, and LATAM. This role involves collaborating with other Compliance functions to provide guidance and support.
- Act as a primary point of contact for locations and contribute to the development of regional Compliance strategies.
- Work closely with the global Compliance team and engage with global Compliance initiatives.
- Evaluate and ensure the effectiveness of Compliance measures within the Compliance Cycle.
The successful candidate will be responsible for providing expert advice on core Compliance areas, including privacy and data compliance matters. They will also offer practical guidance on changes in regional businesses' regulatory environments.
- Support communication on Compliance in the Region.
- Collaborate with business teams to develop adequate processes to implement Compliance requirements.
- Monitor legal and regulatory developments in the Region and design measures to update the Compliance Management System.
Key responsibilities include identifying potential areas of legal and compliance vulnerability and risks, evaluating their impact, and supporting the design and implementation of processes to eliminate or limit identified risks.
- Help identify and mitigate risks, ensuring that business leaders are updated on relevant legal developments and changes in compliance guidelines.
- Ensure all employees are educated on relevant local and Global regulations and processes.
- Report any Compliance incidents to the Compliance Case Management Department.
The ideal candidate will possess fluent English, an academic degree in Law or Business Administration, and professional experience in the field of (Data) compliance preferably in an international context.
