About the Role

We're seeking a senior software quality assurance professional to join our team.

You'll be an integral part of ensuring our web and mobile applications meet high standards of quality, functionality, and usability.

Collaborate closely with developers and product managers to test features both manually and through automation, primarily in JavaScript-based environments.

Your key objective will be to support the team in releasing high-quality products while maintaining code stability and reliability.

Responsibilities
  • Manually and programmatically test web and mobile applications to ensure they function as expected.
  • Work collaboratively with developers and product managers to comprehend new features and contribute to planning testing initiatives early on.
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive test cases to cover new features and existing functionality, guaranteeing robust test coverage.
  • Identify and report bugs effectively, providing developers with clear insights into what went wrong and how to rectify it.
  • Monitor bugs from the point of discovery to resolution confirmation.
  • Prioritize providing test support for the development team across all stages of development.
  • Enhance test automation by writing new tests and refining the testing framework (predominantly in JavaScript).
  • Participate in code and test reviews, offering constructive suggestions and learning from colleagues.
  • Contribute to defining and optimizing QA processes, ensuring efficient and reliable testing practices.
  • Lead the quality assurance efforts for part of the product, taking full ownership.
  • Engage in backend (API) and frontend testing, including mobile apps.
  • Make recommendations for improvements based on your findings and user feedback.
  • Maintain daily quality reporting and communicate any potential risks that may impact future releases.
