About the Opportunity

As a Legal Advisor, you will play a pivotal role in reviewing, drafting, negotiating, and assessing potential risks in contractual documents with clients and suppliers. Your expertise will be crucial in ensuring that our organization maintains a strong legal foundation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Contract Review and Drafting: Review and draft contractual documents, including contracts for engineering services and projects.
  • Risk Assessment: Assess potential risks in contractual documents and provide recommendations for mitigating these risks.
  • Legal Guidance: Provide strategic legal guidance to internal stakeholders on corporate, commercial, environmental, and labor law matters.
  • Training and Development: Develop and deliver training sessions on legal topics, such as contract management, negotiation, and anti-corruption.
Requirements
  • Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Law and postgraduate degree in Business or Contract Law (preferred).
  • Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in corporate/contract law, preferably as an in-house counsel in mining, energy, or construction sectors, or in law firms serving clients in these areas.
  • Skills: Strong understanding of legal concepts applicable to engineering and consulting services, excellent oral and written communication skills in English, strong analytical and problem-solving skills, organizational skills, and ability to work with all levels of management.
