**Job Title:** Contract Manager

  Purpose of Position:


    As an essential partner in our Legal Department, you will work under the supervision of our Sr. Division Counsel, collaborating with our other Legal Department team members. You will oversee the administration and organization of our Legal Department for offices worldwide.


  You will advise our organization on matters involving contracts, software licensing, confidentiality, intellectual property, immigration, corporate and employment law.


  Major Responsibilities:


  •     - Preparation, review, and negotiation of software license / hardware purchase/supply and related services agreements.
  •     - Review and advise on third-party vendor agreements, office and vehicle leases, and other documents that entail legal or financial obligations.
  •     - Preparation, review, and negotiation of confidentiality agreements.
  •     - Coordinate with different corporate departments and branch offices to ensure adherence to policy and contract guidelines.
  •     - Review and advise on corporate policies, as requested.
  •     - Facilitate, draft, and finalize legal responses to international requests for information/proposals.
  •     - Tracking and filing of immigration visa paperwork.
  •     - Review and advise regarding employment contracts, benefits, handbooks, independent consultants, and other HR matters.
  •     - Develop and manage an online and shared legal document depository;
  •     - Other related duties assigned.

  Desired Skills:


  •     - Knowledge of multiple areas of law, including contracts, software licensing, intellectual property, corporate and employment law.
  •     - Attention to detail.
  •     - Commitment to confidentiality and ethical conduct.
  •     - Accuracy, detail, and organizational skills.
  •     - Excellent writing and proofreading skills.
  •     - Computer proficiency (MS Word and Excel a minimum) with ability to learn new skills/knowledge areas.
  •     - Ability to work with a team but also independently.
  •     - Manage multiple conflicting priorities.
  •     - Ability to understand issues domestically and internationally and communicate effectively.
  •     - Flexible and available to interact with employees at all levels.
  •     - Self-directed and motivated.
  •     - Initiative to identify and anticipate needs and make recommendations for implementation.
  •     - Oral and written fluency in both English and Spanish required.
  •     - Knowledge and notions of Portuguese desired.

  Education/Credentials:


  •     - Minimum Bachelor's Degree and 5 years of experience as Legal Assistant or Contracts Specialist / Contracts Officer or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  •     - Law Degree preferred.
  •     - Experience reviewing, editing, advising on contracts.
  •     - Law Office management/organization experience.
  •     - Relevant multinational industry experience a plus; and international experience a plus
