Technical Support Engineer Sr.
The primary objective of this role is to provide experienced technical support for control systems in thermal power plants, ensuring safe and efficient operation.
- Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct troubleshooting and maintenance tasks on control systems, identifying root causes and implementing corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
- Collaborate with plant operators, engineers, and stakeholders to ensure effective communication and coordination.
- Develop and implement maintenance strategies to maximize control system reliability and availability.
- Assist in crafting and implementing upgrades to improve control system performance and efficiency.
- Conduct training for plant personnel on control system operation, maintenance, and safety procedures.
- Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Control Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or a related field; advanced degrees or certifications in control systems are beneficial.
- Experience in control systems within thermal power plants, with a focus on technical support and troubleshooting.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to conduct root cause analysis and implement effective solutions.
- Proficiency with diagnostic tools, software, and equipment related to control systems.
- Willingness to travel 50-60% to plant locations in Brazil, Argentina, and LATAM for plant support and training.
