Business Analyst for Manufacturing Systems

As a Business Analyst for Manufacturing Systems, you will be responsible for bridging the gap between business needs and IT solutions. You will work closely with users to understand their requirements and provide technical expertise to resolve issues and implement new enhancements.

This role requires strong analytical skills, excellent communication skills, and experience with manufacturing systems and technologies such as AS/400, JDEdwards, and ServiceNow.

  • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders across the organization.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize business needs.
  • Design and implement process improvements and system enhancements.
  • Work with users to gather and document business requirements.
  • Provide training and support to users on new systems and processes.
  • Participate in quality assurance activities including testing and quality control.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies.

The ideal candidate will have a degree in a technology-related field, significant experience with AS/400 development tools, and a strong understanding of manufacturing principles and terminology.

Requirements:
  • University degree in a technology-related field or comparable experience.
  • Large experience with AS/400 Development tools RPG IV, RPG ILE, RPG SQL.
  • Large industry experience with JDEdwards Manufacturing environment.
  • Experience with AS/400 Operating system utilities, Query, Debug tools.
  • Strong Analytical skills.
  • Fluent English.
Preferred Skills:
  • Experience with Data Interchange tools like PM4Data, MQ tools.
  • Experience with Incident and Change management tools like ServiceNow.
