Job Title: Backend Software Engineer

Job Description

At our company, we're seeking a skilled Backend Software Engineer to join our engineering team. As a key member of the team, you'll work on building scalable backend applications using Node.js and collaborate with designers and engineers on daily basis.

The ideal candidate will have 4+ years of professional Full Stack Software Development experience and advanced English skills. A four-year college degree is also required.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop high-quality backend applications using Node.js and JavaScript.
  • Design and implement solutions using serverless computing frameworks like AWS Lambda and Azure Functions.
  • Integrate APIs across different platforms and build automation solutions.
  • Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize project goals.

A strong proficiency in JavaScript and TypeScript is necessary, as well as hands-on experience with Docker and containerization best practices. Experience designing and implementing solutions using serverless computing frameworks is also desired.

Requirements:
  • Advanced English skills.
  • Successful completion of a four-year college degree.
  • Solid knowledge of Node.js and proven experience building scalable backend applications.
  • Strong proficiency in JavaScript and TypeScript, with ability to implement clean, maintainable, and efficient code.
  • Hands-on experience with Docker, including containerization best practices and deployment.
  • Experience designing and implementing solutions using serverless computing frameworks like AWS Lambda and Azure Functions.
  • Familiarity with Atlassian APIs and Forge CLI for extending and customizing Jira, Confluence, or related tools (desired).
  • Front-end development experience with React is highly desirable.
  • Ability to work through new and difficult issues and contribute to libraries as needed.
  • Ability to create and maintain continuous integration and delivery of applications.
  • Forensic attention to detail.
  • A positive mindset and a can-do attitude.
  • Experience working on Agile/Scrum teams.
  • Meaningful experience working on large, complex systems.
  • Ability to take extreme ownership over your work.
  • Ability to identify with the goals of our clients, and dedicate yourself to delivering on the commitments you and your team make to them.
  • Ability to consistently work 40 hours per week.
