Job Summary

The HR Specialist LATAM will respond to inquiries regarding HR policy and procedure, the HR Portal, and HR self-service forms associated with particular HR transactions. This role will interact directly with managers, employees, and other HR staff, ensuring regional processes are aligned with the HR model and structure, maximizing efficiency through the use of HR portal technology, HR Central, and subject matter experts.

Key Responsibilities

  • Respond to inquiries regarding HR policy and procedure, the HR Portal, and HR self-service forms associated with particular HR transactions.
  • Interact directly with managers, employees, and other HR staff.
  • Accepts and routes requests for assistance over the telephone, via email, via live chat, and through web forms, working directly with employees to resolve recurring or standard HR-related concerns.
  • Ensure regional processes are aligned with the HR model and structure, maximizing efficiency through the use of HR portal technology, HR Central, and subject matter experts.
  • Key HR Projects and Initiatives: Participate and assist in the direction of various projects, providing oversight and/or coordination of key projects within the HR team.
  • HR Service Delivery Education & Training: Train new talent and educate current talent relative to ongoing upgrades and changes, including developing accurate and updated documentation.
  • Provides language support for policies, procedures, and transactions in the NAMER and LATAM region, with principal support for Brazil.
  • Handles health and safety tasks for Brazil.
  • Manages transactions for HR Purchasing, which includes generating and monitoring purchase orders and invoice processing.
  • Gathers information and records data in HR tools.
  • Monitors transaction status and escalates transactions, as necessary.
  • Provides feedback regarding accuracy of internal knowledge articles and other customer contact tools.
  • Prepares error-free written communication, including emails and letters.
  • Escalation of appropriate actions to other parties.
  • Follow up with employees to ensure completion of tasks within specified performance parameters.
  • Generates daily and weekly incident reporting, translates/create documents, as necessary.

  • Provide HR, Payroll, Benefits support at a generalist level.
  • Employees Data: Guarantee that employees keep their personal data updated in Workday.
  • Personnel files: Keep the documents filed and in order.
  • Gather documentation to support labor claims.
  • Support local events for HR Programs.

Work Environment

  • Day shift to accommodate NAMER and LATAM operations.
  • Involves prolonged periods of PC usage in a fast-paced environment.
  • Is accountable for continuously receiving and handling high volumes of work orders.
  • Works in a team environment; interacts with multiple internal and external contacts.

Basic Qualifications and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree.
  • At least 1 to 3 years of related experience.
  • Proficient Portuguese, Spanish, and English speaker who can read, write, and effectively communicate in the same languages.
  • Excellent Business Writing and Verbal Communication Skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Attention to Detail and Organization.
  • Demonstrated ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and work in a fast-paced environment.
