The Procurement Operations Specialist will oversee the procurement cycle, collaborating with program teams as needed.
This role will manage logistical operations and project activities while maintaining organized and concise files documenting compliance with relevant regulations and policies.
- Develop project procurement documents to preserve the integrity of the process.
- Ensure timely completion of procurements by coordinating with local, regional, or international vendors and service providers.
- Monitor contracts and purchase orders, conducting follow-ups as necessary to ensure compliance with terms and conditions.
The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, excellent communication, and the ability to maintain confidentiality in a fast-paced environment.
Requirements:Knowledge of USAID rules and regulations, Chemonics policies, and procedures is required. Additionally, proficiency in negotiation techniques, contract management, and budgeting principles is essential for this role.
