Job Title: Enterprise Risk Management Leader

This role plays a pivotal part in identifying, assessing, mitigating, and monitoring risks associated with the organization's payment processing activities.

The ideal candidate will possess a profound understanding of financial services, payment systems, and risk management frameworks.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify and assess potential risks related to payment processing.
  • Conduct regular risk assessments and develop risk profiles for different business units and processes.
  • Analyze transaction data to identify patterns and trends indicative of potential risks and implement mitigation strategies.

Risk Mitigation Strategies:

  • Develop and implement risk mitigation strategies and controls to minimize identified risks.
  • Collaborate with IT and security teams to ensure robust cybersecurity measures are in place to protect payment data and systems.

Policymaking and Training:

  • Develop, review, and update risk management policies and procedures.
  • Ensure all employees are aware of and adhere to risk management policies and procedures.

Reporting and Incident Management:

  • Continuously monitor risk exposure and the effectiveness of risk mitigation measures.
  • Prepare regular risk reports for senior management.
  • Escalate significant risk issues to senior management promptly.

Stakeholder Engagement:

  • Work closely with internal stakeholders, including finance, operations, IT, legal, and compliance teams.
  • Build and maintain relationships with external stakeholders, such as issuers, acquirers, and payment networks.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in finance, business administration, risk management, or a related field.
  • 10+ years of payment experience, specifically in creating and implementing risk management tools and controls.
  • Strong ability to communicate, collaborate, and influence in an environment with multi-functional teams.
