Key Role in Operational Risk and Control Framework

This position plays a vital part in supporting the successful execution of the firm's operational risk and control framework across Payments Onboarding business in LATAM.

Main Responsibilities
  1. Collaborate with regional Payments Control Managers to drive control-oriented initiatives forward.
  2. Implement and execute the CORE Program, including process mapping and risk identification.
  3. Manage issue resolution protocols for owned controls issues (regulatory, audit, compliance identified, and self-identified) and conduct root cause analysis.
  4. Participate in cross-functional triage of risk events, loss events, and data breaches and propose mitigation measures that prevent reoccurrence.
  5. Presentation of risk and control concepts to Payments business staff and managers.
  6. Support and guide Onboarding's participation in control-related programs and forums.
  7. Contribute to assessments to strengthen the control environment across Payments COS.
Required Skills, Qualifications, and Capabilities
  • Six years of relevant professional experience in similar roles and implementation processes.
  • Detailed knowledge of Payments business products, processes, and best practices.
  • Strong control focus with excellent communication skills.
