Operational Risk Manager

The OPC team's core objective is to ensure that internal controls are in place and functioning effectively. This includes identifying, assessing, and mitigating operational risks through ongoing monitoring.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Analyze business processes to identify potential risks and opportunities for improvement.
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of existing internal controls and propose enhancements or new controls where necessary.
  • Communicate risk findings and recommendations to senior management.
  • Maintain adherence to regulatory requirements and company policies.
  • Support the maintenance of the Operational Risk Historical Incidents and Operational Policies/Procedures database.
  • Coordinate contract analysis and validation, as well as maintain an inventory of contracts.
  • Contribute to the Governance Committee and Forum.

Position Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in Portuguese and English.
  • Strong organizational and documentation skills, with a focus on detail.
  • Familiarity with risk management in financial services and experience with control execution and reporting.
  • Knowledge of contract management and ability to work with large datasets.
