We are seeking a skilled Operational Risk Database Specialist to play a pivotal role in shaping and scaling our Operational Risk Database globally.
This role is central to developing and implementing data quality controls and governance mechanisms that ensure alignment with regulatory frameworks.
The ideal candidate will have expertise in analytics engineering, data modeling, and advanced analysis techniques, as well as experience working with Big Data and large-scale distributed systems.
Prior experience with data platforms and tools such as Databricks, AWS, or Soda is advantageous, as is a solid understanding of risk management principles and the ability to turn complex analysis into actionable strategies.
The successful candidate will be responsible for assessing and enhancing BDRO architecture, ensuring scalability and compliance with regulatory standards.
Key responsibilities include:
- Translating complex data models into structured datasets that meet regulatory requirements.
- Designing and implementing data quality controls and governance mechanisms to ensure data accuracy and integrity.
- Integrating multiple data sources to create key indicators and risk models.
Additionally, the selected candidate will be expected to develop and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders across the organization, providing expert guidance on data-driven risk management strategies.
The selected candidate should possess excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment and adapt to changing priorities.
