The role of Tax Compliance Manager is a dynamic and challenging position that requires the right individual to lead our tax compliance efforts.
This key role oversees the timely and accurate preparation, review, and submission of tax returns, ensuring full compliance with all direct and indirect tax obligations for designated legal entities in Brazil.
As Tax Compliance Manager, you will be responsible for managing tax risks, ensuring proper documentation and compliance, and maintaining robust internal controls over tax processes.
Key Responsibilities:- Prepare, review, and file all federal and municipal tax returns (IRPJ, CSLL, PIS, Cofins, ISS, Retidos etc.)
- Manage tax returns obligations
- Ensure accurate tax accounting and reconciliations in accordance with Brazilian GAAP and company policies
- Monitor changes in tax legislation and assess their impact on the business
- Support tax audits by tax authorities
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business Administration or related fields
- Solid experience in Brazilian tax compliance (direct and indirect taxes) — ideally 5+ years in similar roles
- Strong knowledge of Brazilian tax legislation, tax returns, and tax accounting standards
- Proficiency with ERP systems and tax compliance solutions
- Proactive and hands-on attitude with strong problem-solving skills
- Attention to detail and ability to work with tight deadlines
- Excellent organizational and project management skills
- Ability to interact effectively with cross-functional teams
