Job Title: IT Operations Manager

This role oversees all IT activities within the organization, ensuring continuous computer service through strategic planning, leadership, and project management.

  • Direct and supervise all IT department staff, handling employee-related issues effectively.
  • Enforce company policies and procedures as part of management, maintaining a positive work environment.
  • Establish professional relationships across all organizational levels, promoting open communication.
  • Define IT goals in alignment with executive management, ensuring ongoing computer service support.
  • Forecast and plan for IT costs, equipment, and staffing needs, optimizing resource allocation.
  • Stay updated with technological advancements, implementing new software solutions to improve user productivity.
  • Develop long-term plans for application and system development, aligning with corporate objectives.
  • Maintain relationships with contractors and suppliers, fostering collaboration.
  • Perform additional tasks as assigned, demonstrating adaptability.
  • Willingness to travel as needed, supporting team efforts.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in IT, Systems, or related fields, providing a strong foundation.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Windows, SQL Server, Exchange, and Office, leveraging technical expertise.
  • At least ten years' experience managing email systems and providing help desk support, showcasing practical knowledge.
  • Hardware installation, troubleshooting, and PC build experience, highlighting hands-on skills.
  • Network troubleshooting, including wired/wireless, remote desktop, and connectivity issues, demonstrating problem-solving abilities.
  • Experience with SQL Server, smartphones, cabling, ERP/database, virtualization, and Microsoft Azure is a plus, indicating advanced skills.
  • Strong knowledge of Windows OS, TCP/IP, printers, and general networking, underpinning technical competence.
