Job Description

IT Business Solutions Analyst

Position

To understand business requirements and processes, and identify opportunities for business technology and/or process improvements. Working with business and IT managers to develop, implement, and maintain solutions that deliver business value within agreed timelines and budgets.

Key Responsibilities

  • Elicit, analyze, and document business requirements
  • Work with stakeholders to prioritize requirements and ensure compliance with global IT strategies, enterprise architecture, and best practices
  • Reinforce project goals and objectives to prevent scope creep and gold plating
  • Recommend solution options that directly impact project or initiative success
  • Effectively communicate with stakeholders to ensure requirements are clearly stated, buildable, and testable

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Management Information Systems, Computer Science, Business, or relevant field
  • Certifications in business analysis, project management, or related fields
  • 3+ years of business analysis experience, preferably in an IT-focused role
  • Experience with Waterfall, Hybrid, and Agile methodologies
  • Experience with the software delivery lifecycle

Skills and Knowledge

  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
  • Ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders
  • Experience with CRM systems, SAP, and EDI concepts
  • Understanding of Web, Mobile, and IoT concepts

Preferred Qualifications

  • Project management certification
  • Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt
  • Experience working in a matrix structure
  • Experience working remotely with globally scattered users and teams
