Material Requirements Planning Specialist

We are seeking a skilled procurement specialist to oversee our Material Requirements Planning (MRP) system, ensuring that materials supply meets demand and supports the optimization of overall cost of materials.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and implement supply chain strategies that meet customer needs and support business growth.
- Support customers' business needs through standard processes and customized solutions, collaborating with purchasing teams.
- Communicate expectations to suppliers, conduct supplier audits, certifications, and performance reviews to improve the supply base.
- Negotiate terms and conditions to protect interests and drive cost savings.
- Analyze and project component purchase prices, providing input on quoted costs and optimizing Materials Price Variance (MPV).
- Ability to calculate figures and amounts, effectively present information, and draw valid conclusions.
- Advanced PC skills, including knowledge of software packages.
- Ability to write simple correspondence and read/understand visual aids.
