Job Title:

Sustainability Commercialization Director for Latin America Operations

• The ideal candidate will lead the operationalization of our sustainability agenda across Latin American markets, focusing on key initiatives in water, packaging, and climate.
• Developing and driving investment roadmaps, displaying franchise leadership, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to accelerate progress towards ambitious sustainability goals and commitments.
• Championing innovative approaches to sustainability, ensuring alignment across all levels of the system (Operating Unit, Zones, and Countries).

Responsibilities:

• Lead the Moonshot process, developing the Operating Unit (OU) business case and co-developing an investment roadmap through 2035.
• Influence system decision-makers, remove bottlenecks, and spearhead steps to accelerate execution towards long-term sustainability goals.
• Take an agile approach to leading the Moonshot cross-functional team, capitalizing on subject-matter expertise from areas such as Public Affairs, Communication & Sustainability (PACS) SMEs, Technical, Finance, Strategy, and Operations.
• Foster collaboration and alignment across disciplines to drive success.
• Integrate sustainability goals into market-by-market strategic (long-range) and operational (annual) business plans.
• Prioritize market risks and opportunities in alignment with business objectives, defining clear processes, accountabilities, and metrics.
• Leverage global insights to enable the exchange of information, sharing best practices, and scaling effective solutions across markets for faster, impactful execution.
• Establish and lead efficient/effective Governance frameworks, ensuring alignment on priorities, investments, and progress tracking across OU, Zone, and Country levels.
• Facilitate productive collaboration with our bottling partners.
• Serve as the central point for tracking and reporting sustainability progress across all pillars (Water, Packaging, and Climate).
• Ensure consistent, transparent, and action-oriented reporting of performance metrics.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as Business Administration, Engineering, Sustainability or Environmental Science. Advanced degrees (MBA, Master's, or equivalent) preferred.
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in commercialization, operations, franchise leadership, and background in financial planning, or strategy-related roles within large, complex organizations.
• Strong track record of driving initiatives with measurable outcomes by connecting strategic vision to disciplined execution, ideally in a multi-market or franchise business setting.
• Basic understanding of sustainability concepts (e.g., climate change, water stewardship, packaging innovations) to ensure effective collaboration and alignment with internal and external subject-matter experts.
• Demonstrated ability to influence senior stakeholders, manage competing priorities across multiple teams, and build lasting partnerships internally and externally.
