Job Title: Maintenance Operator

We are seeking a skilled maintenance operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing a wide range of mechanical and pneumatic activities on various pieces of equipment to maintain safe operations and production goals.

  • This includes sourcing parts for obsolete equipment, documenting all maintenance activities, and performing installations and validations as needed.
  • The successful candidate will also be required to troubleshoot and repair ancillary equipment, changeovers, and setups on vision systems, and perform ink mixing and disposal according to safety guidelines.
  • Maintenance operator duties may also include rebuilding or retrofitting machine components, performing necessary oil changes, and disposing of used oil per established procedure.
  • Additionally, the selected candidate will be responsible for completing PMs on time, communicating with authority about job completion, and maintaining accurate records of performed tasks.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. To ensure the smooth operation of machinery and equipment in our manufacturing sector.
  2. To source, procure, install, test, commission, and handover equipment.
  3. To implement corrective and preventive actions together with superiors and assist in their execution.
  4. To follow up services of mandatory inspection and request consumption materials when necessary.
  5. To compile notes of boiler registration books.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in maintenance, preferably in an industrial setting.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, including the ability to read schematics/prints and make necessary repairs.
  • Strong understanding of mechanical and pneumatic principles, as well as electrical concepts.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Effective communication and documentation skills.
