Job Title: Bilingual Call Center Agent

Service Center agents are responsible for accurately coordinating, scheduling, and completing registration for ambulatory outpatient visits.

Responsibilities and Duties / Essential Functions
  • Prompt and regular attendance at the office.
  • Communicate daily with the manager.
  • Answer incoming calls promptly and greet callers courteously.
  • Coordinate and schedule outpatient visits accurately for assigned locations or care types.
  • Manage appointment reminders, make outbound pre-visit calls, and reschedule or cancel appointments as needed.
  • Collect and record minimum data set accurately in EHR, verify insurance, and communicate patient liabilities.
  • Provide clear information on next steps for care, ensuring reference availability.
  • Answer patient questions and direct callers to appropriate team members for further assistance.
Requirements
  • Previous call center experience.
  • Strong computer, writing, typing, and documentation skills.
  • Experience with electronic health records.
  • Excellent organizational skills.
  • Ability to listen and document simultaneously.
  • Proficiency with call center telephone systems.
  • Ability to multi-task and work independently or as part of a team.
