**Role Summary:**

We are seeking an accomplished Digital Product Visionary to spearhead our software projects, ensuring timely and high-quality delivery. This position requires exceptional leadership and technical expertise in managing teams of software developers.

**Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversight of the product roadmap, driving strategic decisions and prioritization
  • Urgent issue resolution, maintaining a proactive approach to problem-solving
  • Team appraisals, identifying training needs, motivating, and performance management
  • Regular review and reporting of project progress
  • Establishment of mechanisms for monitoring and managing software development activities
  • Prioritization of the product backlog, aligning with business objectives
  • Support for transitioning business specifications to tasks and development work
  • Collaboration with UX/UI designers for effective user experience design
  • High-level UAT to verify solution alignment with vision
  • Facilitation of communication within the team and across departments
  • Analysis of stakeholder needs, aligning product roadmap with strategic goals
  • Prioritization of value, developing cases, and assessing stories, epics, and themes

**Requirements:**

  • Degree-level education in software engineering or equivalent
  • Technical and business knowledge of retail and corporate banking systems
  • Strong understanding of Agile/SCRUM software development cycles
  • Substantial experience leading and managing software developer teams
  • Background in software development considered an asset
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Outstanding interpersonal skills
  • Able to envision and deliver solutions meeting user needs and/or solving business problems
  • Ability to set and manage priorities judiciously
  • Motivation in a team-oriented environment
  • Experience in people management and ability to lead and influence others
  • Able to influence and drive projects to meet key milestones and overcome challenges
  • Proactive and highly organized, with strong time management and planning skills
  • Analytical and inquisitive, with excellent attention to detail
