Transportation Sustainability Manager

A forward-thinking professional is sought to lead our efforts in Brazil and Latin America.
This role entails developing and implementing a strategy to reduce air pollution and greenhouse gas emissions from the transport sector in the region.
- Manage program objectives, work plans, staff, and recruitment in partnership with other Program Directors and Leads.
- Monitor policy progress and suggest adjustments to strategy as necessary.
- Ensure compliance of all functions in close coordination with headquarters and administrative support.
This statutory role ensures ICCT Brazil's compliance and reports to the Board of Directors.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain relationships with government agencies, research institutes, NGOs, and academic partners.
- Represent the organization in meetings with government agencies.
- Identify funding opportunities and support fundraising activities.
Requirements:
- Demonstrated experience with government agencies and research institutions.
- Technical background or experience relevant to transportation, energy, or environmental issues.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
