We are seeking a seasoned professional to lead our Retail Management function. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for developing and executing strategic plans to drive business growth, improve asset management, and enhance customer satisfaction.
Main Responsibilities- Leadership: Lead a high-performing team to foster a culture that drives asset recovery, supply chain efficiency, and customer satisfaction.
- Strategic Planning: Develop and execute plans to ensure alignment with broader business goals, deliver mutual value for both CHEP and its retail partners, and drive business growth.
- Partnerships: Build and maintain strong partnerships with key retail accounts, leveraging deep market insights to deliver customized solutions that add value for both parties.
- Performance Management: Track and manage critical KPIs such as asset productivity, pallet recovery, and cycle time efficiency, ensuring accountability within the team to meet and exceed performance targets.
- Retailer Expectations: Manage retailers' expectations, priorities, and challenging operating models.
- Supply Chain Complexity: Deal with difficult supply networks, country dimension, and white pallet exchange model.
- Commercial Negotiations: Lead complex and difficult commercial negotiations.
To succeed in this role, you will need a strong understanding of the retail industry, excellent leadership skills, and the ability to build trust-based relationships across multiple levels of retail organizations.
About You- Experience: A minimum of 4 years of experience in a commercial manager role with people leadership and a minimum of 10 years of general business experience.
- Educational Background: A Business/Engineering/Commercial degree or an MBA is required.
- Languages: Proficiency in English is necessary, as well as the ability to leverage data-driven capabilities and master the execution of projects and initiatives.
